July: Amazon Prime Day (7–13, ended) + tax-refund season
Prime Day Australia 2026 ran July 7–13 — different from the global June dates this year. July is also tax-refund season, and retailers like JB Hi-Fi traditionally run sales to catch refund spending.
August: Afterpay Day, second event (TBA)

September: Father's Day (September 6)
Australian Father's Day is the first Sunday of September — September 6 in 2026. The week or two before is the sale window for tools, spirits and electronics.
November: Click Frenzy — The Main Event (12–15)
Scheduled for November 12–15 on the organiser's calendar — two weeks before Black Friday, and the starting gun for many retailers' peak-season discounting. The full series: Click Frenzy Australia.
November: Black Friday (27) & Cyber Monday (30)
The deepest-discount window of the year for TVs, computers, audio and appliances. Retailers usually start a week or two early. It's also peak season for inflated "was" prices — before a big purchase, check the product's price history and make sure the sale price actually beats what the product sold for before. December: Boxing Day (from the 26th)
Australia's traditional clearance season: fashion, bedding, TVs and last-generation electronics. Online sales usually open on Christmas evening and run well into January.

Friday November 27, 2026 — always the day after US Thanksgiving (November 26). Australian retailers usually start deals earlier that week (some a fortnight out) and run through Cyber Monday, November 30.
When do Boxing Day sales start?
In-store from December 26; online sales usually go live on Christmas evening, December 25. It is traditionally Australia's biggest clearance period and runs well into January.
When is the next Afterpay Day?
The second Afterpay Day of 2026 is expected in mid-August (the March event ran March 19–22). Official dates haven't been announced yet.
